GEAR BOX TECHNICAL DATA- Shaft Alignment : The below floor plan is determined according to the installation location and the alignment.

Distance between shafts : It is the reducer¡¯s frame No. and marks the dimension. It is selected by means of the transfer capacity table depending on the usage.
Reduction Ratio
| Deceleration | Range of Deceleration Ratio | Nominal Deceleration Ratio | Tolerance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-stage Deceleration |
1/6.3~1/20 | 1.25, 1.8, 2.5, 4, 5, 5.6, 6.3 | ¡¾3% |
| Second stage Deceleration |
1/1.25~1/6.0 | 7.1, 10, 12.5, 14, 16, 18, 20 | ¡¾3% |
| Third stage Deceleration |
1/22.4~1/90 | 22.4, 28, 31.5, 40, 50, 63, 80, 90 | ¡¾4% |
| Forth stage Deceleration |
1/100~1/450 | 100, 112, 125, 140, 200, 280, 400, 450 | ¡¾4% |

Gear Box Selection Method : Determine reducers with necessary dimensions according to the following procedure.
- 1. Determine the Service Factors

- 2. Equivalent Transfer Capacity
- Equivalent Transfer Capacity = Real Transfer Capacity ¡¿ Service Factor
- 3. Select Frame
- Select the frame that has a larger capacity than that of the equivalent transfer capacity by comparing the equivalent transfer capacity with the rated transfer capacity in terms of the revolutions and deceleration ratio required by the rated transfer capacity table.
- Equivalent Transfer Capacity ¡Â Real Transfer Capacity
- 4. Review Heat Capacity
- 1) Determine the temperature correction factor : Determine the temperature correction factor by comparing the ambient temperature with the temperature correction factor table.
| Ambient Temp. ¡É | Temperature Correction Factor | |
|---|---|---|
| No Fan | Attached Fan | |
| 20 | 1.00 | 1.00 |
| 30 | 0.85 | 0.87 |
| 40 | 0.70 | 0.73 |
| 50 | 0.55 | 0.60 |
- 2) Determine the equivalent heat capacity
- Equivalent Heat Capacity = Real Transferred Power ¡À Temperature Correction Factor
- 3) Check heat capacity : Check the heat capacity based on the rated heat capacity table and
the equivalent heat capacity. - Equivalent Heat Capacity ¡Â Rated Heat Capacity
- Examples of Selection
- 1) Specifications
| Operation Time | 10hours/day |
|---|---|
| Transferred Power | 75kW |
| Input Revolutions | 1200r.p.m |
| Output Revolutions | 38r.p.m |
| Deceleration Ratio | 1/32.57 |
| Driven Motor | Agitafor |
2) Use Factor
| Operation Time | Light Impact |
|---|---|
| max 10hours/day | M |
| 1.25 |
- 3) Equivalent Transferred Power
- 75kW x 1.25 = 93.8kW
- 4) Select Frame : Because the rate transfer capacity of Size JK-CT700 of deceleration ratio 31.5 is 135kW
- 93.8kW < 135kW
